Wawa in Bowie is Now Open

A brand-new Wawa in Bowie is now open! Wawa’s store #8523 celebrated their grand opening on April 7, 2022. The grand opening was well attended, with many happy faces eager for hoagies and good coffee. Kenneth H. Michael and Gary Michael of NAI Michael joined in the celebration, and local elected officials – Del. Andrea Harrison, Councilmember Jolene Ivey, and Councilmember Calvin Hawkins – provided welcoming remarks.

The new Wawa, located at 10620 Martin Luther King Jr Hwy, is part of the new Vista Gardens West development and joins Panda Express, McDonald’s and Slim Chickens. In addition, Tropical Smoothie Café, Carolina Kitchen, and JaFe Cycling will be opening at Vista Gardens West later in 2022.
