Industrial with a Twist – ‘Ready Spaces’ Signs Lease
For office workers, co-working suites from the likes of Regus to WeWork are old hat. But ‘Ready Spaces’ takes things in a different direction, offering the same short-term advantage for industrial clients.
Now the group has made its first play in Maryland, as Ready Spaces leased 96,326 square feet of warehouse space at 3341 75th Avenue. If it manages the building with the same approach it lays out on its website, Ready Spaces will fill the space with deals as small as 200 square feet, on flexible leases.
Owned by Terreno Realty, the Landover building worked for Ready Spaces because it offered multiple loading spaces and access points. Michael McGugan at Colliers represented Ready Spaces. Lance Schwarz at NAI Michael represented the landlord.
