Health Center Plans: Greater Baden Plans Capitol Heights Building

From a night out at Dave & Busters to buying a car at Pohanka’s, the Ritchie Station Marketplace already provides most any service or product you can want. Now it’s adding a health services center.

Greater Baden Medical Services plans a new 40,000 square foot health center at the Capitol Heights shopping center, and is preparing plans to be submitted to the county.

In joining a wide-ranging tenant lineup, Greater Baden will acquire the land, and develop the building. The four-story building now in design will be located on Ritchie Station Court, just off the Beltway at Ritchie Marlboro Road.

The health services project is still in the early going, but Greater Baden got a recent boost with the approval of a $461,575 grant from the state toward the architectural and engineering services. The new building will be occupied completely by Greater Baden, offering the gamut of medical, dental, women’s health, pediatrics and behavioral care.

The Michael Companies manages and leases the Ritchie Station Marketplace.
