Scope of Experience

Marcus N. Daniels is a Vice President at NAI Michael, a full service commercial real estate brokerage, development and property management firm based in Prince George’s County, Maryland and serving the Washington DC Metropolitan Region.

Mr. Daniels has over 13 years of commercial real estate and community development experience representing buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants on the leasing and sales of industrial, retail, office, flex, multifamily, mixed use, land and specialty properties including churches, schools and government facilities.

Mr. Daniels has completed several notable successful sales and leasing assignments including but not limited to the sale of La Fontaine Bleue in Glen Burnie, Maryland, a 50,000 square foot retail and event center and the sale of Franks Sports Bar in Oxon Hill, Maryland to the iconic Captain White Seafood Company bringing them to Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Mr. Daniels has also completed the sale of commercial properties including owner-occupied corporate headquarters, major building renovations and repositioning projects including the acquisition of 9301 Peppercorn Place in Largo, Maryland, a 55,000 square foot industrial warehouse building by the Ironworkers Union Local 5. Also, the successful sale of 3000 Lottsford Vista Road in Bowie, Maryland, a 25,000-office building to Pyramid Healthcare who owns and operates Pyramid Healthcare operates both residential and outpatient drug and addiction recovery facilities throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and Ohio.

As evident by his repeat client base, Marcus understands that every real estate transaction begins with the needs of each client as predetermined by specific corporate goals that are supported by the execution of a strategic real estate service plan. His notable current and past clients include Industrial Bank, Mint Dentistry, State Farm, White Cap, The Arc of Prince George’s County, and Waldo’s Chicken & Beer.

Background & Experience

Mr. Daniels is a member of Truist Bank Community Advisory Council in the Washington DC & Baltimore Region. Truist Bank is currently one of the top 10 largest banks in the United States serving over 10 million households.

Mr. Daniels served on Board of Directors of the University of Maryland Laurel Regional Hospital, formerly of Dimensions Healthcare System. Mr. Daniels also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Community Youth Advance and was a board member of the United Way of Prince George’s County, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington Prince George’s County Region, Holy Trinity Day School, the National Black MBA Greater Maryland Chapter.

Mr. Daniels is an active member of the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), the National Association of Black Hotel Owners Operators and Developers (NABHOOD), District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

A native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Mr. Daniels graduated with his BBA in Finance from Morehouse College and was a Horace Rackham Fellow at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.
