Scope of Experience

Carey Chan started with NAI Robert Lynn in May 2025 as a Tenant Rep Director with Team Tran and the Retail division Team. Before joining NAI Robert Lynn, Carey worked in the hospitality and service industry since 2015, helping to operate a small business and, over time, shifting his focus to the back-end administrative side. He handled payroll, bookkeeping, tax compliance, licensing, and renewals. Carey was pivotal in making business decisions through collaboration with his partners and management team.

Background & Experience

Over the years, Carey has helped open and operate several franchise businesses and has been involved in real estate investing since 2020, primarily focused on residential fix-and-flip projects. He has managed contractor teams, kept projects running efficiently and within budget, and worked closely with wholesalers during acquisitions and agents during sales. Through that experience—and from launching businesses—Carey has gained hands-on experience with tenant responsibilities, franchise operations, buildouts (including permitting and space planning), site selection, and market research.

Moving forward, Carey aspires to build a long-term commercial real estate career. He enjoys solving problems, taking initiative, working independently, and being part of a team to get things done.
